SoCS: Spell

When I first heard Linda’s word for today I thought of hexing or bewitching, or casting a spell.  I’ve felt like the studio was under a spell because of the unusual grumpiness…
and certainly we are grumpy due to the spell the American people are under!
WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP!
This is not our country, not our values!
And this is damn Earth Day and STILL we are going to debate SCIENCE???

Then I decided to censor because I dunno…

And next thought is dyslexic.
I am, and while I can spell, the truth is that I often turn letters around and
can’t see them if they are typewritten… script better…
spellcheck is no use for me when it is form to from or how and who…
I tell friends if I am going to write to them a lot so I don’t have to be crazy
like I am with client letters…

socsbadge2016-17The Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is:
“spell.” Write, no editing, 15 minutes.
Visit to see what others are writing and try it!!
Bonus points if you use it in the first sentence. Enjoy!

Well, if it makes you feel any better but even India is on the same destructive path, but let’s divert. You’re really good at handwriting, but since you have talked about spelling. How good are you at spelling?

  2. loisajay says:

that ‘form’ and ‘from’ gets everyone. Dang.

  3. Dan Antion says:

I hope the spell of grumpiness ends soon.

  4. joey says:

May the spell be broken soon, and how.

  5. LindaGHill says:

Spellcheck is very limited that way. …and the people out there walking to support science today? Seems bizarre to have to show faith in something provable, at least to me. 😛
    Thanks for posting, Kate! 😀
