It’s time to stop caring…REALLY???

Love the Culture Monk. He touched my heart this morning with this blog, one Mitchell and I frequently discuss as we notice how disconnected and judgmental our “neighbors” are.
My comment to him was that the minister could be one of the disconnected who are any of the following:
—-) 1 in 10 Americans suffer from depression
—-) 20 % of Americans over the age of 12 are abusing prescription drugs
—-) 1 in every 12 adults are addicted to alcohol (I THINK MANY MORE)
—-) 8 % of all Americans are addicted to an illegal drug
—-) studies have found that one 30% of adults struggle with loneliness (I THINK MANY MORE)
—-) 70% of all Americans take at least one prescription drug
—-) 70% of all Americans are overweight and 1/3 of adults are obese
—-) Americans spend an average of 34 hours per week watching television!
Enjoy, and go visit him if you haven’t.
